Young Miko is shaking up the Latin trap scene as one of its most dynamic and exciting new voices. Today, she premiered her single “Lisa,” a boundary-pushing track that showcases her artistry and songwriting skills. As an openly queer musician, Young Miko is unafraid to express herself, which is evident in her musings about an irresistible woman in the song. And lemme say she brought them out… Yeesh!

Alongside alluring vocal delivery, the track features dreamy piano melodies, stomping beats and a bombastic chorus of vocals at the end. By releasing “Lisa,” Young Miko has set herself up as a new force on the global music scene.

“I am very excited about the launch of ‘Lisa’ and how the project has developed in all its aspects,” says Young Miko, who created “Lisa” with producer/composers J Castle, Mauro, Caleb Calloway, and Avila WTF. “I hadn’t done internal releases since my debut project TRAP KITTY and I was already playing new music! I hope you can enjoy it as we enjoyed making it.”

Directed and produced by 1K Dojo, the high-energy video for “Lisa” was shot in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Perfectly mirroring the song’s adulation of diverse women, it follows Young Miko through a house party crammed with admirers. Intercut with surreal moments, including a recreation of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, we also glimpse Miko in the studio laying down a rendition of the track.
