Vars City has been building momentum since their Hot 97 Who’s Next performance, closing in on a quarter million Soundcloud plays with records like “All Mine” and “Levels.” Today, the New Jersey-based group shares their highly anticipated, 13-track, debut project, No Love In The City. Consisting of longtime friends Donni Fresco, Don Wonder, and Von Bruce, Vars City rep the 609, just like hit-makers Mike Zombie, Tdot illdude, and Cardiak.
Weaving Hip-Hop and R&B, Vars City reside in a similar lane as Bryson Tiller and Ty Dolla $ign, yet still manage to offer a refreshing sound with each of their tracks. The trio keep it close to home by only grabbing South Jersey’s Mir Fontane (300 Ent.) and Ant Beale (House of 99) for guest verses on the project.
