Bay Area rapper MBNel is back with his emotive new single “Don’t Say”, released through MUDDY BOYZ/EMPIRE. Hailing from Stockton, a lively city in Central California and the site of flourishing rap culture, MBNel rose to fame on the West Coast with his resonant melodies and perspective on his life lived in the trenches.
On this piano-driven track he talks about his journey to success, looking back on hardships and comparing them to what he currently has “Designer clothes for all the times I used to borrow clothes/They tried to set the play, I hit that audible.” In the visual element for this release we see Nel taking some time away from it all, travelling with his closest friends around London, Amsterdam and in the Cayman Islands for a well-deserved break.
