The Toronto Caribbean Carnival, also known as Caribana (the largest event in the city celebrating Caribbean culture) is going down this week and to coincide with the parade and celebrations, Kennedy Rd. has decided to put on for her city and release a record from her Feelings Cafe EP.
“Day and Nite” certainly carries the island sounds, provided by Tone Mason, and shows Kennedy at her most vulnerable. On the record she’s being patient about her current relationship and wonders the amount of time it will take to claim her place inside that special person’s heart and soul. Something many could relate to.
