Masego’s Self-Titled Sophomore Album is Set For Release March 3rd

EQT Recordings/Capitol Records will drop Masego’s self-titled album on March 3, and the GRAMMY®-nominated artist highlights his dualities within. His sound fuses thoughtful musings and maximalist flair, while romance is counterbalanced with humorous insights. With the pre-save launch came the accompanying video for “Two Sides,” showcasing Masego’s multifaceted personality through a fun double date narrative directed by Mahaneela – take a look HERE.

Masego’s career has already made great strides; his second album and nearly two billion combined global streams lay testament to this. His full-length debut, Lady Lady, gave us the breakout hit “Tadow”, certified Platinum in the U.S., Diamond in Brazil and Gold in Mexico. The Studying Abroad: Extended Stay EP saw Masego earn his first GRAMMY® nomination for its RIAA Gold-certified single “Mystery Lady Ft. Don Toliver”. He’s been able to tour to every continent (barring Antarctica!), with his upcoming North American tour almost completely sold out prior to its March 12th start date. Those who pre-save the digital edition of Masego will instantly receive the album’s first three singles – “Two Sides,” “You Never Visit Me” and “Say You Want Me,” which have already received more than 15 million streams.

The new album is deeply collaborative. Masego sought out what he calls the “outliers, the savants” – people like Kelvin Wootan, Louie Lastic, Richie Souf, Monte Booker, WaveIQ and Rocaine.
