Before their respective projects came out, both Diplo and Lil Xan teased their collaboration on social media. “Color Blind” first appeared on Diplo’s California EP, while also landing on Xan’s debut album Total Xanarchy. After shooting the visual a few weeks ago, the two share the video for the single today.
In the clip, Diego finds himself at a house party, sipping from a red cup and having fun with those who are in attendance. Scenes of him at a gas station and inside an old parked car in the field also appear, with the final product being Diego looking at the car he was in going up in flames from the distance. On the somber track, Xan talks about a one-sided relationship that he was blind to, using more melody than we’ve heard from him in the past, over Diplo’s electronic production.
This is the first collaboration between the two, with more on the way.
