Bishop Nehru is back with new music produced exclusively by Kaytranada and MF Doom. This kid is lowkey slept on, but hoping with these words and this new project more fans hip to his music. Like honestly who on earth can get production from these guys combined on one album? The answer is likely nobody given the reclusive nature of both famed producers.
Anyways back to this Elevators I & II – this is project has a dope throw back style in terms of the beats when compared to all that trap thats out these days. Its a friendly reminder that THERE IS DOPE HIP-HOP OUT THERE, you just have to look, so stop complaining purists, yes Lil Pump is out there but acts like Bishop Nehru are still dropping gems if you pay attention. Mr. Nehru went into the studio channelling The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and its super solid shot at it. Its clear the songs that are produced by Doom and Kay, yet it all flows relatively well together in a lowkey chill kind of way.
As a whole the LP has one feature by Lion Babe, but the effort is complete, leaving you feeling full. No you don’t need a bunch of features for a project to be dope kids. This project is a perfect project for you to just kick back and do shit around the house to. It’s a cool vibey project that will have you rolling up or kicking back with a nice one on the couch before your Netflix and chill quality time. Gotta order this one on vinyl.
