Salaam Remi is undoubtably one of a kind having produced hits spanning over three decades. Now fans are getting a full length album in what amounts to the soundtrack for the Grass is Greener Netflix documentary.
Let me start off by saying this album is being SLEPT ON. I don’t know why though, because from beginning to end this project if full of dope features and incredible songs. One of my favs is the Stephen Marley joint and I gotta say Bun B and Berner both had slick tracks too.
As for the documentary, we gathered this from the Netflix site: “It lit up jazz and hip-hop — and ignited a war on drugs steeped in racial injustice. Experts explore America’s complicated relationship with weed.”
Sounds like something we can get into 💨💨💨💨💨💨💨From rap to jazz to reggae to soul Salaam Remi covers ALL the bases on this project. We are TUNED IN! Album and trailer for documentary is below!
